1.  ADMINISTRATION:  The Dodge ball Program will be administered by the Sports Director of Sports City.

2.  RULES OF PLAY:  Current National Amateur Dodge ball Association (NADA) rules will govern play except where amended by these bylaws.

3.  MATCHES:  Games will be the best five (5) out of nine (9) games.

4.  MATCH PROCEDURES:  Game begins by placing the dodge balls along the center line --- three (3) on one side and three (3) on the other side.

                    -  The object of the game is to eliminate all opposing players by  getting the “out”.  This is done by:

                             a.  hitting the opposing player with a “LIVE” thrown ball  below the shoulders

                             b.  catching a “LIVE” thrown ball by your opponent  before it touches the ground.

                   -  The officials signals the start of the game by a “starting”  whistle.

                    -  Each team may only retrieve the three (3) balls on their side of the centerline.

5.  TEAM COMPOSITION:  Teams will be made up of six (6) to ten (10) players.  A team must have a minimum of six (6) players to start a match.

-  Six (6) players will compete per side, others will be available as substitutes.

          -  Substitutes may enter the game only during timeouts or in the case of an injured player

6.  GAME TIME:  A six (6) minute time limit has been established for each game.  There will be a two minute rest period between games.

          -  If neither team has been eliminated at the end of regulation time; the   team with the greater number of players on the floor is the winner.

          -  In the case of equal number of players a one (1) minute “sudden death” overtime period will be played.

          -  Game time/date will be published on the website and a printed copy will be provided to each coach for their team.

7.   STATEMENT:  The Sports Manager reserves the right to change or alter any of the above, with the best interest of all concerned.  Any changes in scheduling or rules will be placed in writing and made available to all teams in advance.
